Rainy Days, Je T'Aime

I like rainy days. I do. I think I'm one of the only ones who likes rainy days. But I do. Why? Let me tell you.
I like how it's all grey outside. Gray's my second favorite colour. I wear it all the time. I like stepping over the puddles to keep the bottoms of my pants dry. I like umbrellas. I like singing rainy day songs at the top of my lungs. (As long as someone else does it too) I like how the yellow tree out side the window right now looks 20% prettier with the grey background.
I like being inside with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Especially if there's a window nearby. I like the sound rain makes as it plops from leaf to leaf as it falls down a tree. I like how when there's a full moon, I can actually fall asleep sooner than when it's not all cloudy outside.
I like how rain means it's not cold enough to snow. And if it were only 10 or 15 degrees warmer, it would be a perfect day out.
I mean, I do like sunshine, and a nice blue sky. And I hate when I'm drenched from a downpour, and it takes forever to get dry. But there's just something perfectly lovely about a rainy day. If you're having a miserable day, then it adds to the mood. If you're having a good day, then not even the rain can bring you down. Plus it just can add so much to a cinematic shot. Like in Holes. Or in the Hannah Montana Movie. Or Dear John. Or the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. Or a Knight's Tale. Or the Aristocrats.

Now that it's raining more than ever, told you I'll be here forever, you can stand under my ummmbrella, you can stand under my ummmbrella.
I found out why the sky is so gray today. All the blue is in your eyes.
"If your right leg was London and your left leg was Narnia, would you let me have access to your magical wardrobe?"
