My Preteen and Teen years heavily revolved around movies. For the most part, English Movies. I really enjoyed them. Though I still watched Hindi Movies(Bollywood). Hollywood came out with better movies, The story line, Special effects etc. Bollywood at that time was still learning that india didn't only consist of Parents..and...Old people. So the movies they came out with were not original, they were not realistic and all the actors were really old men portraying 22 year old guys!!.But Its all part of the process.
Moving on a few years, Present Day Bollywood has changed in amazing ways. The dancing and singing is still there( which along with most indians, I love), but the originality, the filming, the editing, EVERYTHING has changed. It has gotten much better. Until this summer, Any movie on my top 5 list was an english movie. Inception being at the top. But then, I saw this Bollywood Movie called 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. I WAS BLOWN OUT OF MY MIND! I walked out of the theatre thinking to myself, WOW......Bollywood did that! HA..TAKE THAT HOLLYWOOD!!!
The title literally translates to 'You're Never Gonna Have Life Again'. This is now my top favorite movie. Once released on DVD, I shall try and get a hold of it. Then we can have an Indian Night!!!....and watch it.. perhaps even do a cheesy old style bollywood dance!!!.....
Fun fact- One of the main actors in this movie, Graduated from my high school. She is seven years older than me. Also, she is not Indian. She's French. :)

I've seen Bride and Predjudice, does that count as a Bollywood movie?
