Court Métrage Trois

There is a film that, I believe, has a most spectacular form of bringing great artists together. Paris, Je T'aime is a French movie that is made up entirely out of short films. With a great ensemble cast and well known directors this is a true treat for anyone interested in making films of any kind. It is truly wonderful to see how each short is so different from each other in lighting, design, story and over all look. Below are a couple of my favorites. Enjoy! Look up the rest if you find the time!

The first is titled Père Lachaise which is set in the French cemetery by the same name. This is actually directed by Wes Craven. To think, the master of horror making something romantic. My oh my.

Quartier de la Madeleine
The second is considerably darker and more gruesome but I enjoy the look of the piece very much. Now I do not support using "vampire love" stories but this little film is still enjoyable. Warning...if you are squeamish do NOT watch.

The last one I am going to show is just pure fun! Putting sound effects to what the mime is doing is just such a good idea. Now this IS entirely in French. The basic thing you need to know is that the little boy is telling how is his parents met in prison and fell in love. Enjoy Tour Eiffel
