DMA may be more than you think it is.

Well after a few issues I'm finally up and running on the blog here. a little bit of background will help you all understand a little bit more about me and my digital media passions.as many of you can probably relate to growing up i loved films a little bit more than all the other kids and they never understood why. to me watching a film is about more than simply the suspension of disblief when you feel like youre a part of the film, for me film was the untimate was someone was able to share a story with as many people as possible in a beautiful and daring way.
while live action film is my biggest passion im here to share my favorite piece of digital media with you. my favorite piece of digital media tells an amazing story of valor and courage in the face of extreme danger, but its also much more. this piece of media tells of the importance of protecting the earth and avoiding pollution. it tells a great story of a father and a son reunited even after the father is presumed dead. its a story of ultimate good defeating ultimate evil (as it should be!). the piece of digital media i am referring to is Star Fox 64. yes, a video game. more importantly a video game that helped shaped my childhood. a game that was the only link me and my older brother had when we were younger.
this game connected with me at the time more than any other movie, how often do you finish a movie and feel like you personally saved the entire universe? this is what video games are about, telling a cinematic story line with a higher level of user involvement than any film ever could.
when i say i have a passion for digital media it extends to all forms of the art.
