Doctor Satire

satire. this is one of the most difficult forms of artwork to produce, you have to be able to be subtle yet still show your audience your point of view. i feel great satire can be watched and enjoyed even without seeing the satire.

one of my favorite and arguably the best satire films is Doctor Strangelove. this is an older film that takes place during the cold war and ultimately leads to the end of the world because of nations freaking out about all the others. most importantly of all this film can still feel relevant today, i suppose its odd that a film about the horrors of Mutually Assured Destruction can remain powerful today.
