Music=Chills

I think I might have mentioned this in a previous blog but I felt the need to dedicate an entire post to the impact music has on not only movies, but Disney shows. This all came to mind as I was working on Digital Tools homework where we can make our own version of a soundtrack or something like that. I've been messing around with the soundtrack from Hollywood Studios (forever MGM Studios to me though...) nighttime show Fantasmic. Every time my family would go to Disney, I would beg to see the show so i've seen it a few times.

One of the reasons this show is my favorite part of Disney World is not only the story and the fact that they play movies on the water, but that the music brings something different from the classic Disney tunes that you hear from the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast shows.
I'm not by any means putting that music down a notch because I love them still. Maybe the reason the music from Fantasmic has a special place in my heart is because when I listen to it, I can visualize the show and even remember the lines from the show...did I mention I've seen the show an substantial amount of times? What can I say, it's a part of my childhood.

Here's a video that has put the finale music to a clip from Fantasia. This video doesn't do the music justice but it's still great.

Whenever I see the show, no matter how many times i've seen it, I continue to get chills. It's at the point when you're surrounded by the speakers and the music hits the climax and it makes you happy :)
Some movies/music also give this sense of happiness (like the end of Harry Potter!)

Let me know how you liked the music!
