American Horror Story

God, I love scary movies! Movies...not television series... Believe me I tried to get into all those considered "thriller" shows. Not one satisfied in any sense of the word. But why do I like horror films? I get asked this question ALL the time. I am a thrill whore. Now with that I know most of you are raising your eyebrow in judgement. Hold on, it gets better (wink, wink). I love a good thrill, ever since I was little that was just one of the things I clung to. I also grew up with a mother who loved horror films and actually let me watch them when I was as young as 5 years old. One of my earliest memories as a child is watching Stephen King's "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson. Now before you raise your eyebrow yet again in surprise just know that my family was not always a Christian one, so no judging... But yeah back to my point which was what again? Oh YEAH I love "The Shining"...nope... Oh! I love scary movies! (Thats right ;)) Until recently that is...Cause now I love a scary television series, and its called "American Horror Story".

This story literally started this last thursday on FX and I was fortunate to stumble upon it on Hulu whilst watching my favorite show EVER, Arrested Development (Which I found they are making into a movie which makes me quiver in excitement) WAIT! Off the point! Now I would tell you what this story is about but frankly Im not too sure. All I know is that this family moved into an old house (TYPICAL) and they are seeing some twisted shit (beg your pardon) to say the least. OH gosh, now I can't technically encourage you all to watch this cause it is quite suggestive. However, I commend Brad Falchuk (Creator of Glee) for branching out and creating this model for horror television series. I mean I've only seen the Pilot and I can't believe what I saw, and I can't wait to find out what happens next. Indulge, please in this super awesome show. Although it will ask you to prove you're eighteen so make sure you are not jail bate... Love, Peace, and blessings to All!
