Lillian Gish- One of the best silent film era actressses

Known as "The First Lady of the Silent Screen" Lillian Gish was a fanastic silent film actress! She knew how to "really act" and portray her characters realisitically and without ANY sound. I found silent film actors as one of the best actors anyway, since they had to really portray their characters in a real way and perform it in such a way that it was believable....and all this without any sound. I found her really amazing in the film Broken Blossoms and how in one scene she had to portray a person locked up in a closed space and panicking. She did such a realisitc performace with that scene and all without ANY sound! I was like wow! Now that's what I call an actress with real skills.
