Rhapsody in Blue

This is an amazing story where it really convicts your emotions and lets you see experiences where people aren't where they want to be. For example, the young man in the first scene has to rush everywhere for his job and can't rest when what he really wants to do is play jazz. The man at the coffee shop only wants a job. The little girl wants her parents and from the looks of it, they are divorced and she wants them back together. In the middle they show us all that they want while ice skating. They show us all of the dreams of Grandure that they treasure. In the end, they all seem to come true but in the oddest way possible. By that I mean it all happens by accident and nothing on purpose. I love how you can tell what's going on by the music and the music really shapes the peace. Music is so important. It helps us shape our opinions about the art. That is why I love Rhapsody in Blue!

  1. I love the fact that they didn't need voices to tell the story. It's kinda like the soundscape homework we had for digital tools class, we told a story without the video. Hopefully what I just said makes sense :)

  2. Love this video! Can't believe some people say Fantasia 2000 is nowhere near as good as the original. I think they're both fantastic; Different, but fantastic. This one esp. stands out. Brilliant.
