Bunnycateagle
The photo above is a picture that I made on Photoshop. If you can’t tell what it is, it’s a bunnycateagle. It might look like a silly picture but it actually has deeper meaning. The deeper meaning of this picture is about racism and how we all need to combine as one. The bunnycateagle is balancing on the ledge representing how all races need to be balanced and equal.
Yeah, just kidding. This picture actually has no meaning at all. I made it when I was bored in one of my high school classes. The reason for this post is state my opinion that some people look WAY too deep into art. Whether it is a painting, a movie, a song, or any other form of art, I believe sometimes people look for a deeper meaning in things that sometimes it isn't actually there. Don't get me wrong, obviously art has meaning to it. However, it does have it's limits. What do you think?

goods post! Its hard to know what to think at times! For instance, with your photoshop picture I was feeling a major cheese factor with your given explanation. I felt like if that was truly your intent it was forced into the picture. I think its that way for quite a few works of art, even Chirstian art. I'll watch movies and it will be such a deep, moving experience but when I hear what the main message is for it its kinda let down because it seems so shallow.
ReplyDeleteI really like Leeper's story about the boy who didn't know what his art meant until someone told him
i totally agree with you. some art should just be enjoyed with no questions asked sometimes.
