Future in filmmmMmMMMM

 Like a lot of freshman film majors, I don’t know exactly what I want to do in the film industry. I just know for a fact that I want to make films in some way shape or form.  Unlike most film majors, my biggest inspirations are music videos and commercials.  Obviously movies still inspire me a lot, however, my love for film began with being intrigued by commercials and music videos. Whenever I am watching a cool commercial, music video, or a sweet movie, I find myself always trying to figure out how it was filmed and created instead of actually paying close attention to what’s actually going on in the film.  It’s hard to look up to film makers when you are more inspired by commercials and music videos because there aren’t that many famous people in the commercial or music video business. There as some movie directors though that are very consistent with their successful awesome movies that I think are really cool. For example, Christopher Nolan, the director of The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Inception, and Memento, is one of my favorite directors by far.  Those four films are some of my favorite movies of all time.  The creativity and originality you have to have to create films fascinates me and I want to be apart of it as soon as possible.
