Charcoal Animation

After watching that video on Charcoal animation, I'm quite tempted to try out the similar style with chalk. I don't have half of the talent that the animator on the video had, but I just want to maybe draw some squares on a chalk board slowly expanding, leaving their outlines behind. There may be a video of me posting myself doing that in the near future. Also, what with all the political talk, I was reminded of Pink Floyd's The Wall and this animation sequence:

I doubt it has the same political meaning as the things we were talking about today, it's just that I couldn't help but think of this. Probably should have mentioned this earlier, but while I am a film major, I love animation and playing around with all variations of it.
