'A Nice Sweet Flick'

Shower was the first film I saw at Signs and Wonders that I didn't find much to analyze. Unlike some of the other Signs and wonders movies I have seen the discussion was mostly about culture and not the underlining themes in the film.(I don't know if this was because of the fact that Leeper wasn't there) Though there were some very intriguing moments to the story that would have been interesting to discuss the reason why they were included, I found the insight from the multicultural people in the group very interesting none the less.

I found shower a very funny, nice, sweet film. Some of my favorite parts of the film revolved around Er Ming and his fathers nightly jogs. I liked how did the same things everyday in the same scheduled. And I found it very sweet when the circumstances changed that Er Ming still kept that routine. This movie made me laugh allot and it was very clever. It is the first Non-Martial Arts Chinese film I have ever seen and I enjoyed it allot. I really recommend it to someone searching a chill, sweet comedy.
