FIREPROOF LEEPER?

Indeed, it's the question on everyone's mind. Where was Leeper when we were all enjoying cheese sticks and and wings with the HU staff and falcuty @ the midnight study break Wednesday night? Luckily, I have the inside information...

After class on Wednesday, Professor Leeper began his usual conniving on how he was going to get us to walk into some more trees (or fall into Lake Swamptip, whichever came first), when all of the sudden he was called up by Alex and Stephen Kendrick of the Sherwood Baptist Church. The question for him was simple enough: "Hey Steve, wanna direct Fireproof 2?"

THIS WAS THE OPPORTUNITY PROFESSOR LEEPER HAD ALWAYS BEEN WAITING FOR!!! "Golly, I can find no greater honor than to be the director of the sequel to the most influential piece of American cinema ever made!" Leeper swiftly hopped on the first flight to Albany, Georgia to begin pre-production with the Kendrick brothers.

That night, upon asking Steve how his students will take the news of his exciting new position, Leeper retorted quickly, "No. They must never know." When they asked him why, he simply said, "It would be as if something like a tragedy, comedy, and fairytale all came together."

To hide his identity Prof. Steve Leeper will be credited as "Leve Steeper" in the upcoming Fireproof sequel.
