(Side note 1) anybody else find it hilarious of where our chapel speaker was from this morning?? Hehe!!
I think one of the major themes, was the idea of second chances. That was what the infamous blue letter was all about, hmmm, that's ironic because if anyone messed up they certainly were not going to get a second chance!
(Side note 2) Anybody else notice that in movies or even in real life, it seems like the people in power are the only ones that can afford to be merciful? Of course not all the time, but it does seem to be a somewhat reoccurring theme.
The whole "What goes around comes around" saying seemed to be pretty evident too.
But these are just first time observations....I definately want to revisit this movie and dig deeper into it.
I loved Archer's character, also I loved the scene where she is writing the story on Norville that is going to hurt his career by calling him an imbecile and the whole time she never shuts up!
She is a tough character to analyze..ya know? On the one hand she seems so confident in herself, being just as good as a reporter as any of the guys, but at the same time she wants something more.
Excited to see this movie again! I remember the clip from it that was in our first homework assignment for DMA105. I thought it looked like a strange, but interesting movie. And it was!
"A can't believe you lied to me! Your a mutzie girl!"
