I saw 50/50 tonight and it was amazing. It was an absolute rollercoaster ride of emotion, which is not normally the type of movie I like. Seth Rogen proved, at least to me, that he can play a pretty good spectrum of roles. Joseph Gordon Levitt is absolutely incredible. And the way the story plays out just weighs on your heart. It's intense.
It has a realistic feel to it while still providing the satisfying plot that media is all about. If any of you haven't seen it, I recommend you drop five bucks on it soon. For those of you who have seen it, I want to hear your thoughts (and it's also extra credit xD)
Trailer:
Dude, this DOES look like a great story! I myself am also a huge Joseph Gordon Levitt fan! Is this at the Huntington 7?
ReplyDeleteYeah it is, but I don't know for how much longer!
ReplyDeleteMan I really liked this movie, but I love JGL and like I've said before, I love Seth Rogen. He co-wrote this film which I think also shows a lot of range that we don't usually see in the characters that he plays. I saw it at the Rave a few weeks ago and it might still be there.
