The importance of homework

While preparing for the midterm papers for Leeper this week, my roommate (Leah) and I decided it was a very wise decision that we stay up until our papers were finished. This plan worked, but before it took place, there was one other thing we had decided to do....

In order for Leah to write her paper on How To Train Your Dragon, we just HAD to watch the movie! It makes perfect sense considering I did the same thing two weeks ago with 500 Days of Summer. I reached a slight disappointment when I realized my paper was on Wicked and there wasn't a movie to waste time...*cough* I mean, watch on it.

Any Wicked fans out in the world? Anyone ever seen the musical? Because it truly is phenomenal.
Its a story of how the Wicked witch of the west wasn't really wicked at all. It takes place before Dorothy's house landed in OZ and travels back to when Elphaba (witch of the west) meet Glinda at college and they are put together as roommates.
The music is just as incredible as the story itself and i'm really excited because...drum roll...they're making a movie! you don't have to love or even like broadway to enjoy this musical, trust me.
Here's the show stopper song of the show when Elphaba takes flight to try and stop the Wizard from doing evil. If there's any Glee fans out there, the two singing were on the show a few times (Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel).

Let me know what you think!

  1. I had to refresh myself on an entire franchise. Six movies that only lost meaning as they went along. Luckily, that's what the fast forward button is for.
