There Leeper was. Just sitting there. Contemplating to hisself about snuggies, and how they look like a hospital gown, the way they don’t close in the back. And he pondered to himself, “What is the lure of such an object? Mayhaps, I’ll get one. And then I shall figure it out. Hopefully.”
So off he set, optimistic thoughts running through his head. He was going to satisfy his curiosity, and maybe even get a blanket with arm hole thingies in it! So of course he headed to that superstore that is the college student’s savant. Wal-Mart. He thought to himself, “There is so much that could go wrong in a trip to Wal-mart.” However, that is a different story, so for our intents and purposes, we shall continue with our story. He headed in the glorious doors, and promptly got distracted by all the shiny objects. And the delicious food items. But then he focused and bee-lined to the part with which there was blankets and the like. And he found a snuggie! Now, we all are feeling proud of our dear prof. But let us ask, what kind of pattern did he get? Now, of course he would get something manly like a sports team pattern, or Veggie Tales, or even dinosaurs! But he decided to go with a bright pink one, with flowers, so he could pretend he got it for his wife. Off he went to the check-out lane, ready to obtain his prize, and head to his castle of a home, and his family! Though he also ended up with a couple packs of his favoritest candy, which he hide in the snuggie box once he got to his car.
Off he went, to figure out the mystery of le snuggie. At home, he opened the box, inhaled the yummy candies, disposed of the evidence, and sat and looked at the snuggie for a bit. “What a curious object.” He thought to himself. “It looks so very innocent.” And then he poked it a bit.
He picked it up, turned it this way and that, hugged it, petted it, thought about it, debated it’s pros and cons with himself and then he decided. He would put it on. He took a deep breath and then plunged.
It was warm. And so soft. And he could do stuff like read, or make noodles, or sit on the couch just chillen in his snuggie, maybe click to MTV so they could teach him how to dougie! And he opted to sit on the couch, eating noodles, with a good book, with a remote close at hand in case he wanted to click to MTV. However, as he sank into the coach, he just kept sinking. And he got all comfy and content. Like a cat that has just snuggled itself into just the perfect warmth and the contentment. Some people might even say he purred in his happiness. And then he fell into a cat nap happy sleep. And he moved. And wiggled. And turned.
When he finally awoke, thinking, “Maybe I’ll head over to muh homeboy the president’s house!” But then he attempted to get up, only to find he had gotten trapped by his snuggie. And he had to wait for someone to come and rescue him. And then he felt like he couldn’t show his face after that. And so he just stayed at home. And gave his lovely wife the snuggie he bought. And then she was happy. But his students were sad, because they were looking forward to seeing him! Some might say he’s one of their favorite professors!
This is a picture I drew based off a picture I found on Facebook.... It looks better in person, me thinks.
