My thoughts on a beautiful Sunday

I went to the 509 this morning and heard a really great message.  It was about how we should be willing to give up all that means something to us in this world and let God be the only thing that fills up our time.  That we should at any time be for following God and being all for Him besides being selfish and only thinking of ourselves and what we want out of life.  It's ironic that in my last post I wrote about how I wish to work for Disney someday and how that's all I've ever wanted and I go 509 and hear that, it was like a voice in my head was poking fun at the fact that I was doing the opposite just a few days ago.  But hey, nobody's perfect.  We all have something we have planned for our life, and we know it's not going to be easy especially since we're DMA students, but because of that we tend to put God in the back seat.  We're all guilty of it I'm sure, I know I am, which is why we have places like the 509 to bring us down from that cloud we dream on.  
Places like 509 give me peace in this hectic college life (and it's only our first semester!!!!) and put a stop on everything else and praise God for all He's done already for us.
