Socerer's Apprentice
I think that Disney has done an amazing job with the short film, sorcerer's apprentice. If you watch the movements of this piece, it is easy to see that every time Mickey moves, the music matches his movements. Another thing, is the fact that he doesn't talk at all, yet he conveys a funny and like able message. It has a powerful underlying theme to it. Mickey shows how he messed with something he had no idea about. He took the cap and started to use it without any prior knowledge. He then gets into trouble and almost drowns in the process. This is kinda like the Garden of Eden. Eve was curious as to why God didn't want her to eat the fruit. When she found out that she could be like God, all knowing, she couldn't resist the opportunity just like Mickey couldn't resist the opportunity to be in charge for once. So she went to see what it was about and ended up tempting Adam, and the the fall and so on and so forth. God punished them for it as well. Just like the wizard punished Mickey for his bad behavior. This is an appropriate message to kids to teach them to think before they do or else you could end up like Mickey.

I used to have a serious dislike for this video because when I was little, I felt bad for Mickey cause he got in trouble. Now, I totally see your point! And a great point it is. I like how you tied it in with the Garden of Eden...so there is biblical meaning behind Disney...congrats on finding it lol
