The tube of YOU

Youtube I mean we all know it. I myself am a bit of a youtuby i post vids and watch a lot  of youtube. I never imagined that it would be what it is now but with the availability to create and post pretty high-quality video there is a lot of good things one can find on it. Youtube perovides a huge varity of things, just as much as telivison almost. It has news shows, (celebirty news too), gaming, mini-sodes, comedy (a lot of comedy) and even horror (hey check out blackbox tv) And lots and lots and lots of VLOGS. I think vlogs are getting as common as blogs. You type vlogs and prepare to hear about millions of kids boring days about how school sucks or they found a frog in their yard. I usually find the entertaining vlogs *cough* Toby Turner *cough*.
But seriously is youtube becoming a threat to tv ? It is more accessable, it has whatever you want with much less commercials then tv, and it allows for a community with the people that are posting it. See the difference between tv and youtube is that the producer of videos can almost directly interact with it's audience which is something tv never could do.
Sure it does allow for a lot more stupid trollish things but that's easy to ignore if your not a singled minded individual with the mentality of a 10 year old and a short temper. It's also a great place to catch up on the latest internet memes and has a tutorial for things from how to tie your shoes, to how to make a red velvet cake, to how to look better naked (don't ask)
But what does this availability to media mean? For a lot of people it means quantity is over-running quality in videos. And yes while there is an abundance in stupid cat videos I find it quite fun to dig through the site to find it's gems.
The major downside is there are a lot of things to entertain you like way too much. Getting homework done on time is a bit hard when you can watch things like wheezy waiter videos and Maru the box cat. But don't worry you'll have time for them later.
