Unknown-Person

So I remembered something today (Thanks to Abi and her deviant art posts) And it took me way back to my initial decision that's brought me here today. It's kinda funny, how God used my addiction to the internet back in high school and got me here now.
Anyways I owe it all to one person, And I still don't know for sure if they are a guy or a girl. (right)

SO for a while I was addicted to deviantart, and during that time I had come across this character here. (left)
Ah my heart flutters I love this character so much. I love the whole story that Unknown (akaUnie) has created and I still don't know much of anything about it. But I don't find myself drawn to the person as mysterious as his/her act is. In fact I really like that about Unie, he/she has sepreated themselves from the enjoyment of his/her characters. And I've noticed that I usually don't know actors/actress's names, I know their characters names. I really don't like associating the person to the character It really dims the richness that character could have. Unie doesn't talk much reveals little but weaves stories together so well not to mention that his/her flash animations just ... ahh they make me so happy.
It's an odd place to find inspiration if not a bit hipsterish (sorry Indie). And I really can't explain all too well why I love Unie's work so much and how it inspires me every time.

But I'll try and share an old and newer video of his/hers. The basis is that on Deviantart, people have these competitions called OC (original character) battles. Where you audition a character that you've developed and they essentially fight other artists and their characters. The rules vary but basically judges look at both artists battles and decide who moves to the next round. It's a really cool idea, and a growing experience that teaches deadlines and story development and also knowing your opponent well enough to depict them in character.
Anyways here's a couple of thins Unie put in for a competition. The first his/her character Climber (the one up there on the left) He's my all time favorite character who's adorable and clueless with the whole strong morals and loyalty with a tragic story. Then in another competition his villain Karl, who's a great villain all together and does the whole cold-blooded polite serial killer.

It's ok that you don't understand the whole universe or what exactly is going on, just focus on the characters and the fighting, love it. (there's inside jokes in some of them that I don't even get, I guess it's between the 2 artists)
