Women in Animation

Women have a lot of contributions in Animation and I've enjoyed discovering the works of Caroline Leaf, Wendy Tilby, Michelle Cournoyer and Christine Roche. Although their deals with the usually women issues (pregnancy, rape, sexually abuse, abuse). I don't know maybe I wanted more? Something else? I hear about these same issues over and over again and although yes, they are important to talk about, is that all there is when it comes to a women doing film? Only womenly issues? I don't know, maybe thats just me and how it bothers and sometimes bothers me that they aren't any other issues that be done when a women does animation...
