Fall Apart

I heard this song coming from the Hardy bathroom today and thought, "wow, theres only 4 weeks left." Where did this semester go?! It seems like it's been four years already but seriously...wow. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we've all spent half our time in either the art studio or digital tools lab.

One of the topics of this song is how we tend to look for God when we're having a bad day or just life in general and not when things are really good. With finals approaching, I thought this song related pretty well to how some of us could be feeling, especially the whole falling apart thing...remember those art class I mentioned? enough said.

God wants us to turn to Him, good and bad, even when we feel like throwing a rock at the computer when it wants to take 3 hours to export...gotta love computers.
He wants us to reach out to Him so He can assure us that everything's going to work out for the better even if it doesn't seem that way sometimes. He puts challenges in our lives for reason. Maybe it's to test the amount of faith we actually have in Him or to push us further. Let's face it, if we weren't pushed into the difficult things, we wouldn't go anywhere and grow.

We all have to grow up eventually, as sad as that is, but its a fact that we all have to face.
Similar to our discussion in class on monday. We're all going to hear and see things we wish we could block out of our minds and avoid *cough The Stain cough* but sometimes it's the only way we can grow.

I just realized this blog went in two completely different directions....oh well :)

So apparently, I can't get videos to show up on the blog anymore... yea, I love computers...so go to this link to hear the song! It's really cool! :) It's called Fall Apart by Josh Wilson.

"Why in the world did I think I could
Only get to know you when my life was good
When everything just falls in place
The easiest thing is to give You praise

Now it all seems upside down"
